Inspire and Energize

2013-07-11 (Thursday) by Mikael Linusson

Today I had the absolutely joyful pleasure of spending time with an old friend of mine. We hadn't seen each other in two years so it was about time. To summarize it: We hit it off right where we left it and the hours just flew by. It was a great day. :)

Some people just fill your soul with lots of positive energy and inspiration and that's exactly what happens every time me and this friend meet. As always I walked away feeling energized, inspired, and in bliss. It's such a great feeling and I'm so grateful for every second of it.

What's the point of me sharing this you ask? The ones who keep on reading will soon know. :D

They say that you become like the people you spend most time with, so I really want to stress the importance of surrounding yourself with fun and upbeat people, with people who inspire you, who ignites your soul and lifts you up to a higher level, people who wants you to really be you.

Those people might be few, but the more you are that kind of person yourself, the more of them you will meet, because this is a two-way street. If you wan't to be inspired by others, you need to be willing to inspire them too. Because if you keep on dragging them down, why should they stay and let you pollute their days? And as there is no reason for you to wait for them to begin energizing and inspiring you, this is what I suggest.

Tomorrow, or even today if it's still early in the day, go out and be inspiration, be (positive) energy, be happiness, be joy, be supportive, be love. Be the greatest being you can ever imagine. Inspire and energize other people. Make the people you interact with feel the way that you would like someone else to come by and make you feel. Try it out and see what happens. :)

Maybe one person can't change the whole world, but every person sure can change at least one other person's day. So go out and do it, help make the world a better place, every act counts.

And a big thank you to my dear friend. Your inspiration and energy just wrote this blog post and I dedicate it to you. :)
